Ricardo Montalban was the spokesman for the TV commercials that promoted that the Chrysler Cordoba had soft / fine / rich Corinthian Leather seats ! Well if you have been wondering all these decades, and spent many sleepless nights wondering about the history of Corinthian Leather, one of the greatest mystery's of the 20th century has been solved ! The 1st link shows a mid 1970's commercial showing Ricardo Montalban advertising the Chrysler Cordoba. The 2nd link shows Ricardo Montalban on the David Letterman Show, explaining the history of Corinthian Leather, and its' real meaning ! It is important to note that while the Bricklin SV-1 was in production in 1975, the seats were not Corinthain Leather. The Bricklin seats looked great, were comfortable, and had anti-slip center sections. However, they were not Corinthian Leather...
